Studio Principal and Teacher

I started dancing when I was 6 with Magda Moolman. Since there was only Ballet at the little town I grew up in, that was all I did till I was 12 years when my teacher could not teach anymore. In that year I was the only student in the Freestate to achieve Honours for RAD Senior Grade Ballet.

When I was 16, Brigitte Kade drove to Clocolan for Ballet lessons and I started again.

​

I continued dancing with her in Bloemfontein after school and did my Intermediate and Advanced 1 in RAD Ballet and also did a few Spanish exams.

 

In 1996 I passed my RAD Teachers with Distinction and took over Brigitte's Ladybrand studio and also opened a studio in Clocolan and Ficksburg and has been teaching there since.

In 2009 I was approached by the Ficksburg parents to take over Sone Goosen's Modern, Tap and Hip Hop studio.

​

I did all the required exams and passed my AIDT Associate with Honours in 2012.

​

We were forced to move to Reitz in 2015 and from 2016 I also had a studio in Reitz.

​

From 2017 I will be teaching in Bethlehem as well, having taken over Magda Heymans' studio.

​
